It also easily attaches to a swim-mask or, for land use, a headband, for hands-free use. The bulb has a long life, but unfortunately is not replaceable, so when it goes, one needs to replace the whole flashlight. The water I dove in was somewhat murky, but the beam on this little light was narrow & strong, and cut through the murkiness which provided the the light I needed to do the job.
