The Crater is even better. It's an improvement over my older one: the washers are made of bronze instead of nylon so they will most likely last longer. The pocket clip is longer and sits more secure in the pocket. As usual, it is a drop point which I really like. THe steel is 420HC - a very good american steel (better than chinese steels that many top knife brands use in their offshore made knives). Handles are nylon, durable and light. The opening and closing is smooth, just right. This knife also has the carabiner which I don't need but it has it's purpose. I'm afraid that the carabiner may slides out when I accidentally push it, no big deal. Overall, this is an excellent pocket knife and is under 3" inches which makes it a legal carry in my state.
