This review is from: Keen Men's Alamosa Waterproof Multi-Sport Shoe (Apparel) I have always been a fan of Merrill, but I got tired of replacing them every 6-8 months. So I decided to switch and try another brand, keen had the best reviews. I work in wildlife management and wear these shoes 10 hours a day m-f. From crawl spaces to roof tops and on ladders. Prior to the 3 day break in period they were loud, binding, and hard to keep tied. But after they are broke in I must say , I am pleased with my purchase. Hard to keep tied! Roofs- not recommended for slick tile Ladder- limited arch support General- feel good and I think they are a great deal for the money! I write back with how they hold up!
