I needed a rainsuit for fishing so I thought I'd try this out as it seemed too good to be true for the price...I was right, it was too good to be true. For the casual wearer of rain suits to take a slow stroll in the rain with, this would work for you. The breathable "make" of the suit did not work if the wind was not blowing hard, and if it blew real hard it let air flow right into the back of the coat. Also, the zipper pulled loose after only 2 days of wearing it in the boat.This product is not for a sportsman, but possibly would work out fine for the casual user. Too bad I didn't open it up and use it prior to the end of the 'return date expiration.' Guess if you buy something you should use it immediately instead of making due with what you had previously. The jacket is still in decent shape and has been worn 5 times this week. Even tried the good ole duck tape on the pants, they just kept ripping further down the inseam more and more.If you need a suit for any kind of activity outside in the rain, I would strongly suggest against this one, spend the extra $$$ and get something that you will be happy with and will last you..AND keep you dry. He drills Natural Gas for a living so he's moving around a lot and lifting, it ended up ripping after a couple wears, but I think it's more b/c he beat the crap out of it than it was the suits quality, which he seemed happy w// .... in the future we will invest in the No tear suits for a littl extra $$... but for someone who just needs to stay dry and not neccessarily bend & lift & tug & pull at work, this is great!!!! |
