All in all I am very happy with the purchase and highly recommend it. We had two adults and two tweens sitting in four chairs. All (plus the dog) were comfortably shaded. The tent allows full breezes through. As noted below, our shelter survived a steady wind that knocked down all but the sturdiest equipment.Pros: Made by Kelty. Has all of the quality you expect from them including sturdy seams and poles. - Can be set up by one person. The secret is to insert the two main poles before you attach the tent to the pole ends. Attach the upwind pole end last and be prepared to stake it immediately. Then hit the other corners and attach guy lines. - Light weight, relative to the pop ups - With proper guy lines, survived a day when almost all umbrellas and many of the pop up shelters came down from the wind. - Take down also a one person job (need to leave the upwind guy line and stake attached until... This shelter was easy to set up (about the same time as a sand screw and beach umbrella), provided good sun protection and great stability in strong breezes. We could fit about 6 beach chairs under the shelter with additional gear. Many people stopped and asked us where we got it. This made our vacation since a family of fair-skinned people completely avoided sunburn! great product and highly recommend. I was hesitant to buy this but took the plunge and glad i did! My husband and 9 year old set this up each day w/ minimal hassle. The sand anchor bags things that they suggest with it highly recommend. We were on the beach in 18 mph winds.. beach umbrellas whipping by us.. and this tent didn't budge. Im sure it was the sandbags/deadmen that held it so well. We didn't use the stakes at all. In addition we tied the beach bag w/ all the camera gear/valuables from the hook in the center of the tent (for a lantern I'm guessing) and that added more weight as well. Even taking this thing down in high winds on a crowded beach was no an issue. It packs up nice and small and was perfect for what we needed.
