We live in the woods and this light is so bright that we can see deep into the woods. I have a dog leash that clips around my waist and I can clamp the light on it so I can wear the light. It is very light and has the ability to adjust to be what you need it to be - hanging light, worklight, table light, etc. It is very stable when it stands. We also lose power often and this light, when placed high, will light the room. I have actually just ordered 3 more and I will probably order even more. Amazon seems to have the best price. The product has a two year warranty and it is made in the US. Buy the 100 lumen model since it does not cost that much more than the 65 lumen model and you can never have too much light. Living in the pitch black, I have researched flashlights for a long time and I have tried at least 25 or 30. And although the B&D SnakeLight is less than ideal, at least its 'multi-LEDs' provide a nice 'flood' light as compared to a 'hot spot light' like this unit. And, by the way (as I thought I remembered a reviewer writing about the battery cover)....yes, it IS a pain to remove...you just have to push 'OUTWARDS' while you are also pressing 'downwards', in order to remove the battery cover. The diagram they show only implies that you press 'downward' to remove the battery cover, and that just won't work. |
